INSTALL Philly flooring pros complete tough training on hardwood sand and refinish

To prepare for several upcoming school and condo construction projects involving hardwood flooring, members of INSTALL Philadelphia completed a customized training program designed to enhance skills in sand and refinishing. INSTALL flooring instructor Steve Raisner and training volunteer/retired INSTALL member George Butrica established the course’s lesson plan, based on their own training provided by INSTALL’s partnership with the National Wood Flooring Association. INSTALL Philadelphia Coordinator, Patrick McGinley, said “It’s important to keep current as we work with natural products such as hardwood. This training also keeps INSTALL contractors supplied with the best trained flooring professionals in the region.
