Dear Mr. John McGrath:
On behalf of “Housing Matters” and the frail elderly gentleman and his aging caregiver, we all want to say THANK YOU!! The support we received from Local 1823 was a major factor in making our volunteer project, completed on June 4th, 2005, a huge success. The goal of our committee is to complete the home modifications and repairs to homes of elderly-low income homeowners.
The two volunteers from Local 1823 were able to transform an outdated and hazardous kitchen floor into a modern and more importantly, safe, functioning floor, by installing the new floor. The two volunteers were professional and completed the job in a timely manner.
Again, we appreciate your support and look forward to partnering with Local 1823 on future volunteer projects.
