INSTALL Local 1823 is the floor covering and window treatments arm of the Metropolitan Regional Council of Carpenters, covering eight counties in southeastern Pennsylvania, the state of Delaware and eastern Maryland.
“INSTALL” stands for International Standards & Training Alliance — the floor covering industry’s most comprehensive professional installer training program in the United States and Canada. INSTALL is the floor covering arm of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. The biggest names in the floor covering industry support INSTALL. Currently, 33 leading floor covering mills and manufacturers, including Armstrong, Mohawk, Mannington, Pergo and Shaw, endorse INSTALL.
INSTALL Local 1823 brings together the best of both worlds: local floor covering professionals who understand the Philadelphia and vicinity construction market, supported by North America’s most comprehensive floor covering training program derived from major manufacturers’ specifications.
